will.i.am. dropped the bomb over at Vibe, saying “right now we are planning our 3-D tour movie and James Cameron is directing it.” Well, great. Defend Cameron as a film-maker all you want, but there’s absolutely nothing cool about a Black-Eyed Peas 3D concert film. The film will consist of footage from a world tour of the group, going to places such as South America, Africa, Asia, etc.

Oh yeah, and this guy named Daniel Day-Lewis who has taken over for the departed Javier Bardem, according to Variety (though this seems new considering last time we had checked in DDL was only, “in talks”). The project is a Broadway musical adaptation of “Nine,” which itself was a quasi-adaptation of Fellini’s surrealistic classic, “8 1/2.”

So excellent cast, great pedigree, etc.

So it seems that Black Eyed Peas cheeseball Will I. Am is going to make his feature-length acting debut in the “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” film that’s being spun-off from the “X-Men” series.

You’d think after three movies Hugh Jackman would be sick of this hirsute and irritable character, but apparently he’s game for yet another Mcfranchise (this one could easily take on the life of three more films).
