You gotta love the old school design on the soundtrack CD artwork too. Too bad they didn’t go that way on the poster.

No tracklist has been revealed as of yet, but a list of all the music in the film leaked during Cannes, and it included tracks by David Bowie (the Giorgio Moroder-produced synth-laden titular soundtrack cut to the ’80s Paul Schrader film “Cat People”), Billy Preston (keyboardist to the Beatles and The Stones), ’70s Brit band The Arrows, plus eight classic Ennio Morricone cues (naturally, QT tried to enlist the venerable composer to write original music for the film, but he tentatively agreed and then had to drop out due to prior obligations).

This scene from Universal Germany, is the sequence in the picture right after the audience is introduced to Til Schweiger’s defecting Nazi character, Hugo Stiglitz. That sequence (not seen here) is played out in a blaxploitation-like style with Samuel L. Jackson narrating and the wah-wah pedal-driven funk of Billy Preston adding musical accompaniment.
