Noah Baumbach‘s next project for Netflix is shaping up to be one of Hollywood’s buzziest upcoming projects. Deadline reports that Laura Dern, Billy Crudup, and Riley Keough join previously cast George Clooney and Adam Sandler for the still-untitled film. It’s Crudup and Keough’s first time working with Baumbach (as it is with Clooney), but a reunion between the writer-director and Dern (as it is with Sandler).

She’s one of our best working actresses, but the career of Naomi Watts has had ups and downs recently. 20th Century Fox is bringing the intensity with “Alien: Covenant,” the followup to “Prometheus” and the latest chapter in the “Alien” saga. Once again, it looks like very brainy people are going to get in some big trouble.

In ‘Covenant’ Michael Fassbender plays two characters, and a new crew will face countless horrors and probably make some terrible decisions (like having sex in the shower while a creature is loose on your ship?), and we’ll be there watching anyway, hoping we’ll finally get a great “Alien” sequel after waiting decades.
