Yauch, a long-time video director under the pseudonym Nathaniel Hornblower – who has directed many of the Beastie’s videos – also directed and put together the rap trio’s 2006 Madison Square Gardens concert film, “Awesome; I Fuckin’ Shot That!”

The Beastie Boy renaissance man envisions running Oscilloscope like a indie-music label according to Variety (this is the point in the story where no one is allowed to mention Grand Royal).
