First announced way back in 2018, it’s been a while since we’ve heard anything about Duncan Jones’ “Rogue Trooper” film. The sci-fi animated film is apparently very much still in production, and now, we know who will be lending their voices for the film. 

According to Variety, Aneurin Barnard, Hayley Atwell and Jack Lowden are leading the cast for the upcoming sci-fi film, “Rogue Trooper,” written and directed by Duncan Jones.

There are few scientists in history to achieve a level of notoriety in the same was as Marie Curie. So, naturally, you have to expect that her story would get the feature film treatment. And that’s exactly what happens in the new film, “Radioactive.”

As seen in the new trailer for the film, “Radioactive” tells the story of Curie’s life and career, including her discovery of a new element, coining the term radioactive, as well as her personal life with her husband and the discrimination that faced her.

The earth was once flat, the sun revolved around us, and polonium and radium were unknown. In time, there were societal combustions—ripples across space that devastated longstanding establishments. Marie Curie ignited the fuse, discovering polonium and radium en route to two Nobel Prizes. “Radioactive” opens with an elderly Curie—adorned with frazzled grey hair and wearing thin-oval sunglasses—walking through Paris in 1934 to her lab. Once there, she collapses, rushed to the hospital as her life flashes before her eyes.
