Director Adam Shankman (“Hairspray”) and Amazon MGM Studios are putting together two action heavyweights for a new film, “The Man With The Bag.” Deadline reports that Arnold Schwarzenegger will make his first big screen debut in years with the Christmas comedy he’ll co-star with rising action star Alan Ritchson.

“The Man With The Bag” focuses on Santa’s stolen magic bag, and the Christmas icon turns to the naughty list to find a former thief named Vance to help retrieve the bag in a massive heist.

Back in 2007, audiences were first introduced to Amy Adams‘ Giselle, an upbeat singing animated princess that travels to the real world, specifically, New York City. Mixing the animated princess film genre with a fish-out-of-water romantic comedy, “Enchanted,” very much became a hit for Disney, and its belated sequel is finally on the horizon. “Disenchanted,” not to be confused with the Netflix animated series, is a direct sequel that will be released by Disney+ this fall, and the studio finally released the first trailer at the D23 Expo event, showcasing the new cast and tunes.

You probably remember Mel Gibson’s horribly-dated film “What Women Want.” The film followed a male chauvinist ad executive who somehow, through a bit of hijinks, gains the ability to read women’s minds. Obviously, almost 20 years later, the film is a bit problematic, not just for the content but also because of what would happen in Gibson’s personal life in the ensuing years.
