If you were around in the 1990s or old enough to remember anyhow, the millennial Y2K phenomenon is both a panic and hilarious joke to some. In 1999, as the new year approached, Y2K referred to the potential computer errors related to the formatting and storage of calendar data for dates in and after the year 2000. According to A24, Hiro Murai is set to direct a new film titled “Bushido” for A24. The film marks the feature filmmaking debut for the director, who is probably best known for his work on music videos and TV series. There’s no details about the film’s plot, other than it being set in feudal Japan.

The film, titled, “Marty Supreme” was written by Safdie and Ronald Bronstein, both of whom will be producers alongside Chalamet, Eli Bush and Anthony Katagas.
