I was just pointing out that Xan Cassavetes said on Indiewire that "The Hunger" was a reference for her. Judging by this review (and the trailer) it really seems to be obvious in the movie itself (not just because of the French of the cast).

Not a fan of "The Hunger" myself (except of the ending) but this looks interesting (cinematography seems nice)… would be a cool double bill with Byzantium?
