I saw the movie last week & your review really nails it in my view. The most baffling example of the (apparent) legal need to avoid rights issues was when the movie cuts from Hendrix about to sing \’Hey Joe\’ into the recording studio mike to the band exiting the building afterwards. But Hey Joe is a cover anyway so why??? Benjamin is outstanding, Poots, Bennett & Buckley good but other actors 1-dimensional. Keith Richards & Eric Clapton characters embarrassing. Not sure what the movie was supposed to be.
