Yeah, this Drew Taylor guy gave Dead Man Down a B+, and that flick was fundamentally terrible. An utter failure on every level, especially screenwriting. Laughable, even. So, I'm not concerned about his grade here.

Seriously, why does indiewire bother reviewing studio films if only to viciously pan them. Waste of time for all involved.

I did scratch my head over the idea that this turd had been accepted into SxSW. And we all know how mainstream audiences differ from festival audiences. This review may seem overly harsh, but it's hard to believe this is going to be a major hit. We'll see.

Saw it at SXSW. Laughed my ass off, along with the audience. And if you don't think that last scene was funny (yes, disturbing, but hilarious), then this review has lost all credibility.
