I really can not wait to see this movie. It was one of the last projects I worked on in NYC before moving to Germany. I spent three days in the Burlesque Club that they had built in Kaufman Astoria Studios! It was a really nice set, and I think it will be great to see how the film turns out. The only problem is they dub movies when they come to Germany, so I hope I can find it in its original version.

I'm not sure why everything I've seen of Rust & Bone just leaves me entirely cold, because I so want another powerhouse Marion Cotillard performance to look forward to. This strikes a chord MUCH more potently and I'm very excited. Cannot wait.

I'm so looking forward this "Nightingale" movie! James Gray said in a french interview that it will be certainly his best work. Not only because of how he shot it but also because of his actors who really gave their best. I remember him saying that he enjoys working with J.Phoenix as usual, but he really took pleasure working with Marion Cotillard and Jeremy Renner that he called "amazing actors"! If all of that doesn't excite you i really don't know what to say!

'"Nightingale" is Gray's first period-piece'… not true, WE OWN THE NIGHT is set in the 1980s and is easily considered a period piece, albeit Gray's lease accomplished piece of work. Looking forward to this film.

With The Master, Hers and now Nightingale Joaquin is making a great comeback, Cotillard continues her impressive work since her oscar win with this projct, the two of them seem to be the frontrunners at the moment for the leading oscars, how great would it be to see the two of them reunite at the oscars winning, Cotillard could also reunite with her onscreen husband Day-Lewis in the underrated Nine musica.
