If you think you might enjoy watching paunchy, vapid old-sters humorlessly breathe their way through day after identical day via shakey close ups and lingering takes then this film is the for you. Others may prefer stories with characters that provoke an emotion response besides inciting the viewer to futilely wish that the actors would just all stop talking and/or get hit by a bus.

And I say that as a hipster myself, one who's been waiting since Zach Braff's glib 2004 celebration of the 'lifestyle' to see a movie that really penetrates and understands this recent American phenomenon. There have been a couple of equally glib reactionary takedowns but other than that, it's mostly just been variations on Damn it feels good to be a hipster. Few movies really 'get it.' Looks like this might be one of them. Thanks for alerting me to its existence.
