The pacing was excruciating. I wanted to kill the editor, then read the movie had no credited editor. The director kept everything. Establishing shots were 20 seconds long. There's a scene where we had to watch Dano smoke an entire cigarette for 5 minutes. Brutal experience.

Does she even get to have some great moments in this film? I like Paul Dano though he can grate on me sometimes like that movie he did with Zooey Deschanel which was indie at its worst.
