Nice review. Saw his show in Cape Town last weekend, well worth it. A gentle man. Give him a listen and watch the movie it's great and you'll learn something about South Africa in the
70's if you're so inclined.

But Rodriguez isn't dead yet… according to Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sixto_Diaz_Rodriguez), the Guardian (http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/2008/aug/08/popandrock3) and his very website (http://www.sugarman.org/), Rodriguez isn't only very much alive but still touring and releasing records!

Great review. Very well-written. I definitely want to see this flick, like immediately. Rodriguez was a very talented dude – downloaded one of his albums a few years ago, but was unaware of the story behind the man. Just knew that time had basically forgotten him.
