I will check this out! I relate to being in my mid-20s and I don't know what I want to do with my life. I went to college but I'm still wondering which path is for me while it seems everyone else is is married with kids steady jobs and they always had direction so I relate to Keira character ( just not in the make friends with teens) and also her commitment problems are also hitting home which is weird lol but it sounds interesting. Keira and Sam will bring me into the theater.

I will reserve your critique of Knightley's performance and judge for myself. I hear she was stellar in 'can a song save your life', and quite frankly she's the sole reason i want to see the film.

I understand you have extremely tight deadlines for these reviews, but am I being too harsh when I say that a sentence like "In any other movie, Megan is akin to the disaster that is Anne Hathaway in âRachel Getting Marriedâ without all the ugly character traits, but she still breaks a lot of peopleâs lives, trust and hearts along the way." is not coherent?

Is it unreasonable to ask for specifics about what Shelton does or doesn't do to ground what is an admittedly (and intentionally) unlikely storyline? Specifics about her filmmaking style and its perceived shortcomings? The way the decisions in Laggies might relate to her decisions in her last two films, without labeling them "Lynne Shelton films" and leaving it at that?

I'm still positive about this movie. I'm in my mid 20's and don't know what I want to do in life and I think it will be interesting to see Keira Knightly do something I have never seen her do before.

Thanks for this review. Your description of the movie's plot reminds me of "The Good Girl" with Jennifer Aniston, another bad person, very bad, who lands unscathed into the ending the character was destined to want. There was no doubt in The Good Girl that the girl was bad. If "Laggies" expresses the same message, it would be worth checking out. It's useful to learn how unconscious psychopaths work, what they're like.
