Saorise is one of the finest actresses of her generation. She has a quiet intelligence that shines through, but she can play tough or tender, she can do it all. She creates unforgettable characters, I hope this is her year to really break out, she deserves it.

It\’s not often one reads such a beautifully written and passionate review of a film. It seems like each new review of Brooklyn is more effusive than the last.

Perhaps Ms. Ronan will finally be exposed to a much larger audience with such a great role and a fine distributor.

I\’ve felt for a while that she is the best actress of her generation, and this role will give her the opportunity to prove it to the moviegoing public.
