Lizzy Caplan is so charismatic and watchable. I've heard some horrible garbled rumor that she is dating podgy Matthew Perry, which makes as much sense as a lioness dating an otter.

This movie sounds amaaaaazing. And more realistic cause let's face it, the majority of women in society are haters that backstab and pretend they're happy for friends when they're really jealous. Can't wait for it to come out.

Bridesmaids did so well because the women looked like REAL women and were relateable. Men have more difficulty portraying women because they tend to produce what they want women to be. These girls are all young-ish and thin. Their only diversity is their hair color. It wasn't just the vomiting and crazy hi jinks that made Bridesmaids a hit, it was the genuine interaction and honest, realistic friendship between Wiig and Rudolph, the characters' vulnerabilities, the fact that you had older women (as in late 30s early 40s) having a ball and being hysterical and they were all different. This movie looks alright, but reminds me of some sort of inner look at the Plastics (from Mean Girls) all grown up. Women don't have to fit some trope of either "bitch" or "dim wit" to be funny. Bridesmaids ran the gamut, and this film doesn't strike me the same way.

THE HANGOVER is tame and watered-down. HANGOVER 2 was much better; didn't have to overcome the terrible writing of Lucas & Moore. Over time it will end up getting more respect like Kirshner's EMPIRE. First HANGOVER is safe stupid trash.

Are the characters as unlikeable as Young Adult? I don't see another movie coming close to what that film accomplished. Sounds like this one didn't.

I like the way you write, but your grades are weird, and clearly, although we both use letter/plus&minus grades, our scales are vastly different. For me, a C+ would be pretty close to a failure, but here, it's a "recommended, with some reservations".
