I feel humbled, and so grateful to everyone who has contributed to this cause. I have huge respect for the people who have had their oars in the water, regardless of when they got involved. When justice is the goal for these fine young men, I can only feel gratitude. So for what it's worth, I ask everyone to accept my sincere thanks, and encouragement to keep working for real justice, total exoneration!!

Joe, I thank you for all you have done for the West Memphis Three. I truly believe YOUR reasons are pure. My family supported WM3 from the very beginning (and continues to support and love Jason's family) and we, too, saw sunsets, rainy days, sunny days, foreign countries, etc. with eyes for ourselves and also with eyes especially for Jason, the one we knew. I hope all three can get the kind of therapy they need after such horrific experiences so they can find their true selves. Jason once said, "Being here in the worst of places has brought out the best in me." Now may being in the best of places also bring out the best in him.

your 3 films totally contradict each other.. first you point the finger at byers then you point it at hobbs, and byers who was the main suspect in the first 2 is now wearing your t shirts and is cuddling you in the 3rd.
is there gonna be a 4th movie where everyone is hugging tery hobbs?

the real killer is proberbly not even conectged to ANY family… proberbly a drifter… but hey..that dont make interesting tv does it?
by the way… why on earth did Jessie keep confessing? the "oh hes a retard" line dont cut it.

It's very sad there is friction regarding the two presentations of the West Memphis Three story; it shouldn't have to be like this. How much more effective if all the producers would be in harmony, since the focus should be on exonerating Damien Echols, Jason Baldwin, and Jessie Misskelley. That is the only thing that matters.

there is something so bizarre about the turf wars over the WM3 and murder victims families. So Mansonesque.
Damien Echols who, please remember, wanted to be remembered as the West Memphis bogeyman. Damien is clearly not finished with trailer-to prison-to Sundance with prison groupie wife movie drama life. There is a possibility that Damien is going to become extremely bored with getting expensive new tattoos paid for by Peter Jackson and Eddie Vedder. It's also possible Damien will soon be bored with Lorri Davis.
So Joe, stay in the game. It's highly likely that Damien Echols will be the gift that keeps on giving.

Interesting interview in that Joe is so amenable to the whole thing, only pointing out one REALLY odd thing; that being the "off limits" bit with Pam Hobbs. You would think that the folks behind WOM would have been much more accomodating. Also, it's interesting that when Joe has done interviews for PL3 he has a model of gratitude, patience, and kindness in Jason Baldwin, whereas it seems (and I mean it just SEEMS to ME) that the crew re: WOM approach things differently. I saw a vid clip where Damien talks about this being "his movie" and "finally being able to do what HE wants to do." If I'm taking that out of context, let me be the first to apologize, but it seems there's polar opposites between the two men who share the public eye. And like Joe says, this is only about ONE thing and ONE thing only, full and complete exoneration for the WM3, right? RIGHT!!!! EXONERATE THE WM3!!! I'm writing a letter TODAY and will send one every week to Mr. Scott Ellington until the case is reopened….
