This just opens the door for The Dark Tower to make a Stand. A post apocalyptic western sci-fi, with a never-ending multi-world epic storyline to consume us all.

I could imagine Hulk doing that but that would also be whimsical. While I also think it’s gonna slow down at some point, I don’t see why the formula wouldn’t disappear. It is like the westerns, it’s always gonna be there because it’s a simple framework to articulate emotions and moral dilemma. It’s just another side of the American Mythology.
