He\’s shifting the blame from them onto the creatives and the producers. He quite appropriately positions himself as the voice of reason, and just like in his movies, he communicates his interests in an incredibly sophisticated and well reasoned manner. After Spielberg says something like this, one can expect some seismic changes in the coming years. Just waiting to see what Lucas says.
