To read between the lines here…..doesn't seem like anyone on this page has actually read the script that comes in the aforementioned Tachen book, but allow me to say this: it's an astoundingly good screenplay: kubrick in his prime. this was what he wrote immediately after he made 2001 and before he made A Clockwork Orange….the themes are all there, the violence is all there, the vision is all there and, believe it or not, the sex is all there, too. if Spielberg follows the script carefully, it would be very hard to ruin, very hard.
