Sounds like another Woody Allen snoozer with a lackluster cast. Desperately seeking Oscar Carell should fit in nicely. Criminally overused in Melinda and Melinda ? Puh-lease…and after that dramatic turn in the turkey Foxcatcher he\’s lucky to get work. Yes he was nominated for the obligatory comedy actor turns to drama to seek Oscar nomination. Typical Hollywood and Academy BS.

@blunt sorry to burst your bubble, but Clooney didn\’t turn down the role. He was up for it but Allen chose Carell instead. It\’s called audition and A list actors still do it for Allen

LOL, I\’m glad Clooney turned this down, and that was probably thanks to his wife. I wish more actors would show some integrity and stop enabling this man. Strongly side-eying anyone who works with him after all that\’s known about his personal history.

Not actually his first time with Allen. He had a very small role I.e criminally underused in Melinda and Melinda.
The other actor in contention for the part was George Clooney. Good for Carell.
