I was just a face in the crowd, but when I struck up a conversation with him he was totally open to talking about what he was working on, just making a positive connection. He was really, really talented. His performances in The Green Room, the SXSW-winning short Kiss Kiss Fingerbang, and Only Lovers Left Alive are as the real deal. He had so many more masterpieces in him. What a loss.
