Really!!!?That\’s a little appalling. This should be Singleton\’s picture all the way. He made \”Boyz N The Hood\” for gods sake, which had a fresh out of N.W.A. Ice Cube. Gray would be my second choice out of this list considering he\’s worked with Cube before and he\’s not a horrible director like Berg. Brewer did a good job with \”Hustle and Flow\”, but that captured the southern rap environment. I\’m not sure he\’d be able to do the same with 80\’s west coast gangsta rap.
