I\’m sorry, but Appaloosa sucked. Tonally all over the place, and Renee Zellweger annoyed the heck out of me.

Harris is a good actor, though. Good interview.

I really enjoyed Appaloosa. It was pretty faithful to the book which I also enjoyed. The second book focuses much more on Hitch than Cole and Ally\’s not in it, so of the three, it was definitely my favourite. Cole doesn\’t show up until half-way through the book. Ally shows up again in the third book and I just saw that there\’s a fourth book in the series released posthumously. I sure hope if they do a sequel they won\’t skip over the second book and go straight to the third which is more of a sequel to the first book than the second one is.
