This….doesn’t bode well. Obviously we haven’t seen enough to know what larger game they might be playing at (they probably don’t even know yet), but I agree with the writer, it really felt like just another attempt at pandering. Capping off what already felt like a long string of attempted fan-service.
In and of itself, it’s nothing special. There’s potential and I want to be excited, but these last two movies have really lowered my expectations.
