If that is the case then that film will probably be a great visual feature but nothing mind-blowing, artistic or socially relevant since questions about human and corporate greed, ethic in science and biology, etc. were by today already widely debated and to some degree solved.
In that case they could give it to Michael Bay to direct it, kaboom, crash, Eighteen Wheeler flaying through the air, boom, big explosion… And America would love it.
