Granted, they weren’t always huge characters in terms of plot, but the concept certainly isn’t foreign to the series overall.

That said, the last television series Wiseman had a hand in producing (Sleepy Hollow) really hit the garbage heap pretty hard beyond its first season (that it lasted four total was a true miracle, especially after one of its co-stars jumped ship) so I find myself hesitant toward investing any time to it, assuming it gets picked up somewhere.
