I feel really bad for Ving Rhames. The only thing Luther looks to be missing in that poster is a hobo bindle hoisted over his shoulder. If he was dressed down any further, he\’d be wearing nothing but tattered rags.

i think some of you are missing the point, and still focusing on her sex appeal, yes she is attractive, but thatss not the point Simon Pegg, was trying to make, and i fully get what he was meaning.

Jonathan – disagree. The other posters haven\’t been designed to emphasize the attractiveness of the male characters — even the supposedly \’attractive\’ ones — their approach seems to be about creating a sense of mystique or, in the case of the one with Pegg\’s tuxedo, showing an interesting juxtaposition between the attier and the job, which tells us something about the character. Ferguson\’s poster appears to be the result of a different approach. And it\’s the only one with that approach. If there was a poster designed to make Tom Cruise look sexy-as-f*** instead of mysterious or cool or whatever, Ferguson wouldn\’t stand out so much as getting different treatment.

Pegg\’s being a little picky. The poster is sexy not because of the leather or her butt but because she\’s really attractive. She\’s not going to photograph "neutrally" like the guys — at least not to a group of guys — easily. The are far worse examples of this with other movie marketing campaigns.

I agree they all have nice jackets — but her behind is spectacular! Call me sexist but I have no issue with the one-sheet. Besides, Ms. Ferguson is decked out in snazzy leathers on a kick-ass bike — certainly no damsel in distress.

It\’s funny how the Cruise image is drenched in such foggy mystique that for all we know, the lower half of his body may not even exist, whereas the female star\’s rear is such a focal point that she might as well be saying "Yes, I\’ll be solving this international intrigue with my highly trained ass."
