Re: your SPOILERS paragraph, I\’m really not sure Benicio played a kingpin. My understanding after seeing the movie once was that he was basically just an employee of the Medellin cartel who was personally acquainted with the head of the Mexican cartel he kills. And that he was not the kingpin himself. What was the line or sign that suggested otherwise?

I agree with Ronnie – perhaps it would\’ve been better not to reveal that del Toro makes it through the movie for those of us who haven\’t seen it yet. THR and Variety managed to do that. Report the news but don\’t wreck the f*cking movie.
