It’s about three shadow siblings. The eldest shadow is very dark and is treated like a shadow. The middle one has a lighter hue and actually has some people friends. And the youngest is a girl who is very light and barely even reads as a shadow, most people just assume she’s a people and she romances a boy who doesn’t even realize he’s a shadow. Very brave to talk about the issues but it does lose some of that goodwill when you learn that the actress playing the youngest shadow IS actually a person pretending to be a shadow that can pass as a person and that kind of misses the point.
