"If I could give the money back and get all the credibility in the world that I'm seeking, I would do it tomorrow. In a heartbeat." I like Shia, but this is an extremely douchey thing to say. Doesn't he know how many actors would KILL to be in his position? Doesn't he understand that the reason why he is working with the likes of Hillcoat and Von Trier is because of his position, not necessarily his talent? And the suggestion is meaningless anyway, because clearly he can't go back and change anything. And, if he somehow could change things, it would mean that he would be another struggling young actor: nothing "credible" about that, just difficult and frustrating. I think he's got talent, but when he says nonsense like this I kinda want to slap him.

Shia is awesome! whatever people says, he act since he is like 10 so seriously with his filmography he will be consider as one of the biggest actor of all time in 40 years from now. Come on who would said "NO" to Steven Spielberg's Indiana Jones? And Spielberg himself put him on Transformers which he produced. He was like seventeen or something so how could he really know it wasn't gonna be a critically acclaim? i really think he didn't knew it would hurt his reputation. He has plenty of time for being recognized and appreciated, we saw many career's tour de force like Mathew Mcconaughey this year.

He seems to making a concerted effort to be interesting these days, which is admirable I guess. An actor dropping acid is hardly much of big deal, though. I'd sat the list of major male stars who haven't tripped balls is pretty insubstantial. Maybe Hanks – if even.

I support Shia and defend him when the haters drop their comments, but he seems to try too hard to impress. I'm sure 10 years from now he'll look back and say, "I should have just shut up and did my thing." He's a young guy, so…
