Especially ones in positions of power. Then again, there are also a lot who are not like this and that’s important to remember. Even though it’s a bit of a birds and bees thing I think too many guys really go over the line and are abusive. I’ve worked a lot of film sets and never really ever saw it. My experiences have been the opposite. As an actor I came on a film that had been shooting on location for 6 weeks. The lead actress, who was married, tried to seduce me. She wasn’t abusive or over the line. She just made it obvious that after 6 weeks I was the new guy on the block and she wanted part of my action…I declined as she was married and even though she insisted her marriage was an open one I still passed. I wasn’t really physically attracted to her either. Who knows it she had been Jessica Alba or that Olga Russian actress who I think is so sexy?…the other occasion I was part of the crew…a 2nd AD…and on location the lead actress who was married to a well known director got even more pushy…drunk and rubbing up against me…I was sober for a while at that time and just didn’t find drunk women enticing…she ended up with the 2nd assistant cameraman…lol…I tell you..on film sets on location it’s like the folks lose their minds and want to do any one and everyone…even on a 5 week shoot. Weird.
