The performance is the important part, so as long as the actor doesn't look so dissimilar that it is distracting, we shouldn't be aiming to cast a lookalike. January Jones might look more like Grace Kelly and if Vanity Fair wants to do one of those photo shoots with her re-enacting a Grace Kelly movie, that's great, but I wouldn't want in a Grace Kelly film since she is quite a limited actress. Effective, but limited.
