Anon #2. You're an idiot. The writer of this review is new to the site and he just started writing for the site this weekend at ComicCon. He writes for Pajiba who SPECIFICALLY avoided every major comic con panel because they're just not into this kind of thing. Drew was just going to do interviews for us, but ended up doing Pilgrim cause we needed a body. We had no idea what his take on the movie would be.

But whatever, hate on if you like.

Normally I wouldn't feel the need to leave a comment on a review, but the above characterization (e.g. "don't turn into a movie's PR department) seemed a bit unfair regarding motive, effect notwithstanding.

So to you I say: beautiful write-up.

You addressed those things I care about, and brought to your review a level of greater thoughtfulness (than just film) that I've come to expect from this blog.. most of the time.

Can't trust a word of this, but whatever. I'm not putting down ten bucks to see it in theatres, but maybe it's fun.

A word of advice: if you want to be taken seriously as a critic, don't turn into a movie's PR department for the entire year leading up to the release. I realize you get a lot of perks as a results of doing so, but you're no different than AICN right now.
