I saw Contact after Interstellar. Interstellar\’s far superior but the faith vs. science argument at the heart of Contact was interesting and worth exploring. Didn\’t like Jodie\’s performance though. She had already entered into her \’clenched teeth\’ period of acting. McConaughey was just eye candy but man, was he beautiful.

loved the original contact. maybe foster\’s best role. i like miller too, MMfury road was awesome. glad zemeckis got to make his version. on my top ten scifi list.

Contact is almost a masterpiece and does a much better job than Interstellar at packaging the big science fiction themes. Sentimentality lets it down though. That\’s what Kevin the Gerbil says anyway.

I loved Contact and aside form the unnecessary love interest I didn\’t find it talked down to the audience. Also Jodie Foster was fantastic in it.
