People, please, stop overrating Jennifer Lawrence. The poor girl is not a trained actress, and she is always wooden and she has problems delivering her lines ( that was confirmed with Silver Linings Playbook and the trailer for Catching Fire ) .

I actually like the Amy Poehler casting. That would be perfect casting. Keep in mind, comedic actors/actresses are gifted dramatic thespians.

Why can't they get an experience actress who more or less resembles Clinton, Clinton doesn't look like any of these actresses. Even though the actress' that are considered to do the role are talented in their own ways, a normal looking actress not the most beautiful and sexiest actress is needed. They can all do the role of Monica Lewinksy but get an actress who's looks and fame won't overshadow the ability to portray Hilary Clinton. Then, everyone should say what people said about Meryl when she portrayed Thatcher. For me Diane Keaton more or less looks like her in this picture. Diane Keaton can play the adult Hilary Clinton while Michelle Williams or Renee Zellweger can play the younger Clinton.

Scarlett and Hillary have similar facial features; but she doesn't have the acting chops to embody Mrs. Clinton. Amanda or Jessica will probably be casted. How about Amy Poehler? She looks young enough, she can do a great impersonation, and would be an interesting challenge from comedy to drama.

Witherspoon would probably be the best out of these four but it would be slightly too meta after her performance in Election and would overshadow the film.

I actually think Jennifer Lawrence would be the best person for the role. She doesn't look like Clinton which is almost an advantage because that frees her to actually play the role. She has a punchy likability that would suit this role perfectly.

Scarlett is too sexy and her voice is too husky. Amanda Seyfried is too bland and too pure looking. Jessica Chastain is a great actress but she doesn't have the gravity of a movie star. As mentioned, Reese has the baggage of Election and is probably too old.

In conclusion, Jennifer Lawrence.
