At least she won't look like a middle school girl next to Andrew Garfield. Nothing against Shailene but thats the first thing that pop into my mind when she was cast.

Shame she won't be MJ as I think she would have made a good one. Whoever she's playing I hope it brings her some good exposure, she deserves it.

she's probably Liz Allen, if not she's Felicia Hardy, and you may see Felicity as MJ instead. Regardless the three actresses are very cute.

If they're casting her now, she's going to be in TASM2, even if just as a credits kicker or something. Shailene obviously wasn't working in the role and they decided to start over, but clumsily tried to do it without embarrassing her, and in being so cagey, probably ended up making an even bigger mess.

All in all though, Gadon's a much better choice and while I feel bad for Woodley, that's Hollywood. And she's got plenty of other stuff on her plate, so she'll be fine.

So we'll see MJ in TASM2 or they'll just replace MJ with Liz Allen because they don't wanna look bad? If Mary Jane was supposed to have only 3 or 4 small scenes…I can imagine they could use Liz.
