The MCU started out great, but Feige\'s cutthroat tactics are beginning to make the quality of the films suffer. He\'s alienated Jon Favreau, Kenneth Branagh, Alan Taylor and even Joss Whedon. He fired Edgar Wright (who likely would have made a much better Ant-Man than what we ended up with) - Ava DuVernay was offered Black Panther but turned it down because she didn\'t like Feige\'s "What I Say Goes" process. Ultron, Thor 2 and Ant-Man were "meh" at best - Iron Man 3 was abolutely horrible. Winter Solider & GotG were great, but 2 out of 6 Phase 2 movies being great isn\'t a very solid record. I love Marvel comics, but I\'m starting to get bored with how Feige & Disney churn these movies out. I wish Garfield stayed on as Spider-Man, because at least his performance would be good even if the film wasn\'t great. Now with Holland (who I have nothing against) anything could happen and I just don\'t trust Feige to make a top quality film. And it\'s a bit weird for him to be bragging about how he\'s going to bring a high school setting and a witty Peter Parker to the screen, when that\'s exactly what we got with the Amazing series (granted, Spidey cracked more jokes in the second one, before the horribly depressing ending.)

I have a bad feeling about high school Spider-Man, but even when Marvel fails, Spidey pulls in $400 mil at the box office, so what does it matter? As long as you have enough pewpew, you\'ll turn a profit, and if you take creative risks, you might make a few hundred mil more, but you might also lose a few hundred mil if it falls flat. Why take the risk unless you have to? The brand is doing fine, and they don\'t a top shelf director to save it yet.
