I must say, and I am truly showing my age, when I say this. But I loved the Last Dragon Film!!! I think I was in grammar school then when it came out in theaters. The lead actor who played the Last Dragon, the FINE ASS BROTHA: Taimak. He’s still fine till this day, but I digress.

I have mixed feelings about the remake of this film. Samuel Jackson, has played the same role for the last 14+ years, since his break out role in Pulp Fiction, he really has not diversed much in his roles. Like you, I have pretty given up trying to see him in some thing different. Well, there were a few roles I liked him, Eve’s Bayou, and he was good in Jungle Fever as the junkie. But really, not much else.

I am really interested to find out, who will play the main character, The Last Dragon. I hope its another fine ass brotha. As I am writing this, I am hearing the theme song of the film, play in my head. Ahh… good times indeed.
