Would make sense, but the article does say, “another project is ‘Get Him To The Greek,’ but then again, maybe you’re right and the journalist is a total retard and or just didn’t understand Brand.

I think it’s more likely the journalist was confused and didn’t ask enough questions. Devin over at CHUD talked to Apatow who said “Get Him to the Greek” is the “spin-off” of “Sarah Marshall” in which Brand will reprise his Aldous Snow character.

Okokok, i like him too, but i’m annoyed that he doesn’t seem to know what he’s talking about. then again maybe there IS a ‘FSM’ sequel and it just hasn’t been announced yet.

I second that. Brand isn’t the brightest star of “Marshall” but he has been positively hilarious on talk-show appearances.

To call Russell Brand “slow-witted” is idiotic. If you’ve seen him do stand-up or a TV interview, you’d know he’s very quick-witted indeed.

Also, he’s a rising star in Hollywood and perfect for a trying-to-be-irreverent awards show like the MTV one. He’ll be WAY funnier and more outrageous than Rogan would… just wait and see.
