If they were to reproduce the darkseid saga from that series it could be a very good super-hero movie. I really enjoyed the Legion of Super-Heroes. They weren't really time travellers as per-say, but it occured during the future of Earth and superboy time travelled to them. (at one point one of them created a time machine to go visit superboy but generally they stayed in the future)
