I\’d take Mary Elizabeth Winstead – Why = cheaper = more money for effects = Snyder +has the same chops to pull it off.

I like the idea of Rebecca Hall as Lois Lane.
She has the height & appearance to look intimidating yet elegant (not sure Biel can pull-off both — although i\’m sure she\’d provide a wicked catfight scene). Hall also has a brainy-hot essence about her (which ought to be LL\’s special appeal to Clark/Superman). Lois Lane should be subtly sexy — not hollywood sexy.

If i had to pick from the list above, I\’d go with Biel by default: McAdams & Akerman\’s big foreheads only bring back painful memories of Kate Bosworth. And the Glee & Twlight girls are just too young. Winstead — POSSIBLY — if they could make a her look tad older than her years. She was bad-ass in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (as Ramona Flowers).

Biel\’s not a bad choice for the role, but i hope there are other contenders that we don\’t know about (e.g. Hall, Julia Stiles, Rashinda Jones, Emily Blunt).

I\’m still voting for Rose Byrne as a candidate, especially if the film goes into production in August. This won\’t conflict with her Damages shooting schedule. Rose has shown she can play tough-minded, determined and as well as humorous roles in the past.

Rachel McAdams is the only person on this list that is an even remotely acceptable choice for Lois Lane. Jessica Biel is a HORRIBLE choice. A beautiful girl….but she\’s not funny and she\’s not a good actress. Mary E. Winstead would be decent as well.

Here\’s hoping they go with McAdams. She could do it.

I\’m thinking either Kristen Stewart or Rachel McAdams will get this role, if these are the choices. Lois\’ arms can\’t be bigger than Superman\’s so Biel won\’t work, and the others are a little too obscure. With Cavill an \”unknown\” in the lead, I\’m sure Snyder and the studio want a more famous face for Lois.
