So a couple months ago Polanski’s victim raised a stink about Quentin Tarantino defending Polanski some 10 years ago and today she defends him herself. Good to know.

With all due respect, your statement that Polanski “fled from the US to avoid jail time” is disingenuous at best. As Geimer herself states, Polanski “41 years ago pleaded guilty to a single charge and served his sentence.” He was remanded to Chino State Prison for an evaluation period and released after 42 days. The probation officer, examining psychiatrist, and Geimer all argued against further jail time. I am not a Polanski apologist, but I do believe that whatever your moral position on him might be, you should at least present a completely accurate picture.
