He didn\’t say it was the worst insult, it was a mistranslation of an interview that was in French. He was asked what was the biggest misconception about him, and he said that it was when people thought he was an American. He\’s had an American accent in most of his films, and some people aren\’t aware he\’s British. That\’s all, not a big deal. You sound like the one who needs to grow the F up.

The thing with Rob Pattinson is that you should watch videos of his interviews. You\’ll have a better idea of his sense of humor. His laughs put what he says into perspective. Printed interviews often don\’t do him justice, let translated interviews, in this case from English to French to English. He has always been a reader and a writer (Herzog said Rob wrote very well), so who knows… What I appreciate so much in Rob is that he\’s a man of his word. He wanted to support the indie movies, those film makers who are ambitious in making edgy films and he sticks to his intention, even by playing small roles (Childhood of a Leader). He\’s a true cinephile. The question is though what role in what blockbuster did he let go?

A bit of tongue-in-cheek humour here.Rob has been working with some of the best directors and writers in the business and has obviously been learning the craft. I doubt there\’ll be any CGI in films that he writes or directs. Good luck to him.

LOL is an ignorant Kristen Stewart fan who is using the words that describe her, "stiff and one note," in a weak attempt to express their frustration that Pattinson moved on and is doing better than ever now that she\’s totally irrelevant in his life. I know it stings that American Ultra was both a critical and box office failure, and the critics trashed Equals at Venice, but Pattinson has more than proved his acting chops, and the French media recently proclaimed that he\’s "the new embodiment of indie movies who\’s fire power is without equal in his generation." Why are her bitter fans so hung up on a man who has avoided her for over two years now? Isn\’t she enough to hold your attention?

Hey LOL. You need to watch him in The Rover. Simmonds was the only actor in a supporting role thatcwas better than him. He\’s also terrific in LIFE. I saw it in Berlin. He also completely outacted Franco in QOTD and that was Peter Bradshaw\’s opinion.

Really looking forward to his collaboration with Denis though. With Zadie Smith writing with Denis it\’s going to be interesting. The French love him. Would love to see him work with PTA sometime soon.
