You never know if you'll get something on part with Blade Runner, Thelma and Louise, or BHD… or, on the other side of the scale, Body of Lies, Prometheus, 1492: Conquest of Paradise. For a keen visual stylist, his storytelling skills are all over the map, and often underwhelming.
