Scott, I admire you, Prometheus was awesome, please don\’t screw it up with the basic Alien monsters. Alien 3, to me, was nuts. Didn\’t like it, Aliens was the best, almost better than Alien. Please think more about the story of Prometheus 2. Please!!!!

Ridley SHOULD diverge from all "Alien" timeline films after "Aliens". With the exception of his Promethean pre-boot, none of them since "Aliens" has been worthy of the first 2. And if/when it does catch up with the Alienverse post "Aliens", let\’s hope the ship, and it\’s few remaining passengers, survive, albeit an older Michael Biehn, Sigourney Ripley, the no-longer little girl, and, maybe, even the cat. They could have gone thru a wrinkle in time … whatever justifies their age–and mix in some edgy new faces for a bolder direction. Of course, if the actors are alive by the time Ridley\’s J.K. Rowling-worthy multi-film set-up eventually gets there. Which is not entirely likely, but, given franchise cred, is possible. Honestly, who wants to stand by Aliens III & IV? Or any of the "versus Predator" cash-ins?

I\’m very intrigued.
The intentional nod to John Milton\’s epic poem Paradise Lost is a wonderful resource with some great themes that can work wonderfully.
Paradise lost is about Mankind\’s fall from grace, expulsion from paradise.
Paradise Lost tells of Lucifer/Satan\’s banishment from Heaven "It is better to rule in Hell than serve in Heaven."

There is so much to draw from and build on! (Remember, Shaw was deeply religious).

Heck, I\’m getting story ideas just thinking about it.

Count me excited.

Promethius was the ship that took them to the planet in the first film, that ship is gone soooo calling it Promethius 2 does not make much sense…..right?

This is also a bad idea because if Alien: Paradise Lost flops, that means that Fox probably wont make Blomkamp Alien sequel. All the fans want is to see Ripley and Hicks back, don\’t ruin it for us Ridley Scott. I don\’t trust that your movie won\’t flop or at best be a disappointment like Prometheus.

Prometheus 2 (Alien – Paradise Lost)…. Yes. Alien 5 (Alien 3 – version 2)….. No. Do we really need a Blomksmp revamp. No thank you. And yes, you are trying to undo Alien 3. For crying out loud, what else do you think your doing. Can everyone please try and come up with their own things please. This is Ridley Scott teritory, so leave it alone.

This is a terrible title. Just terrible. And it is getting confusing. Scott should think about it one more time…
what about "Prometheus: Paradise" or simply "Prometheus 2" or even "Prometheus: Paradise Lost".
By using "Alien" first Scott is basically re-branding the series. Without actual \’aliens\’ this is going to be a disaster, Mr. Scott, do you here me?
