Spike Lee\’s documentary work AKA contribution to society is exactly what makes him more valuable than Perry.

Tyler Perry is a exploitative, pandering hack. Lee is an intelligent, motivated filmmaker with respectable credits and perhaps more than a few missteps.

Also, Spike Lee is \”worth\” around 40 million dollars or so. Is there really a difference between him and Tyler Perry anymore?

With the exception of Spike Lee\’s documentary work, they\’ve both been making shitty movies for the last few years.
