I actually think X2, while still terrific, is more flawed than 'X-Men'. The first film deserves a lot more credit for having a far more coherent plot, brilliant atmosphere, style and world building, and for ushering in a whole goddam genre of movies.

I have only recently started reading The Playlist and from the reviews I've read on a lot of the big blockbusters (DOFP, Godzilla, How to Train Your Dragon 2 most recently), they seem kinda unforgiving and maybe even unduly harsh compared to other sites. Is that an accurate description?

I heard that Bryan Singer was accused of child molestation but I didn't hear that he 'WAS'. so he is innocent until proven guilty.

The probably should just call this movie, 'Hugh Jackman ….oh and some other people'. Don't get me wrong Hugh Jackman is the definitive Wolverine, but damn let some other X-Men shine!

Well, from the trailers it appeared to be One Giant Mash-up of everything and anything X Men. Lets see, how much I agree with this review.
