I saw the movie at Cannes. It is a very fine work. There is light humor and some dramatic suspense not unlike the work of Alfred Hitchcock. This is a movie about moral dilemmas. It is well-written, beautifully acted, and actually inspires a person to discuss the film\’s interesting themes after seeing it. I heartily recommend it.

jessica… if you cant find respect in match point, vicki cristina, midnight in paris, blue jasmine… even whatever works plus around 10 oscar nominations in the last 10 years then the problem is you… not poor old woody allen. this film has gotten very good reviews to some like yours… but you seem to have decided long ago what your review will look like and you just insert a new name for the movie and actors…

These days? Allen has been inconsistent his ENTIRE career. He just shoots out so many god damn films that of course a handful of them are going to be good.
